Tribute for Lynn our Joint Chair for our Group

To all, we are celebrating the life of our dear friend Lynn, whose radiant smile and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. What we admired most about Lynn. was her unwavering optimism – even in the face of tough challenges, she remained resilient, finding light in the darkest of moments and being a pillar of strength and a source of encouragement for us all.

We’ll never forget the Spring, Craft4Crafters shows we exhibited at, where her experience of organising our stand was always welcome.  Her husband going up the ladder to put in nails on top of the boards under her instruction as she always had a vision of how best to display our work. Her ability to show us inventive ideas from stitching to printing and dyeing fabric for us to create unique pieces of stitch at the workshops she ran at our monthly workshops.

Her character helped us bond, support each other, and take a break from everyday life each month at our Exeter Creative Stitchers group.

As we bid farewell to Lynn let us remember the memories we shared and continue the traditions we started. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
